I am writing to thank you and your workers for moving my belongings safely and carefully to Rochester, N.Y. from Norwalk, Conn. Max and Mike did a wonderful job packing, loading, and unloading all my household belongings (Peter was with them for the packing also.) They were all very pleasant, very careful and very helpful during the entire moving process.

Mr. Goetjen:

I wanted to take a moment to write you to thank you and your men for the fine job you did moving us last week. When I look around at all the things we own, I can’t believe the job was done so quickly and efficiently. I must apologize for the incident with the plumber on Friday. We had no idea that anything like that was going to happen. It was a totally bizarre thing.

Thank you for rearranging things for us and getting our belongings to us on Saturday. We truly appreciate your going out of your way like that. We would be very glad to recommend your company to anyone.

We would like to commend you for your association with Goetjen & Sons Movers of  Danbury Road, Wilton CT 06879.

The week of June 12th – 18th, they packed, moved and delivered our possessions from Wilton, CT to New London, N.H. This was done with great consideration of our needs and wishes as well as with remarkable efficiency and care of our belongings.

From the critical estimating of our costs, through the details of timing and billing, to the physical packing and trucking, the three members of Goetjen family, Bill, John, and Sue, were extraordinarily helpful. The actual crew under Max March with Mike and two other workers made order out of what could have been chaos and was instead a pleasant adventure in very good company!

North American should be proud.

Dear Bill, John – et al –

The van arrived 7/28 with all belongings in perfect shape, of course. The two men were extremely kind, organized, and helpful to this class of ’48 graduate – did all I needed and more.

This had not been a fun procedure, but thanks to all of you, especially Mike, Joe and Butch, it was painless. I hope they never have to deal with three chiefs from the same house again and put up with so many changes – they were 100% patient, kept a sense of humor and survived the heat. They’ve got to be the world’s best packers. Please give them each $250.
